Don't you see the mess of wires at the bottom of the 'other systems' pic?
 
Yeah, you can see some, but is that tags on the wires, like to tell you what they are to? :hmm:

Here's the underside of my desk, actually just rewired everything a week ago.

It's ok. It's been a year now. Besides I was WAAAY more pissed off that his little retard helper threw out a bunch of my tools and materials...along with the stone when he cleaned out the garage. The moron threw out a couple levels, a speed square, chisels, a 3#sledge, ALL the attachments for my shop vac and hundreds of dollars worth of sealers and strippers.:mad:

I shoulda taken a pic of the wires under my desk before I moved my puter to the other side a few months ago. The reason I moved the puter was cause everytime I sat down my feel got tangle :eek:

It's still pretty bad but my feet don't get into the mess now :D
 
Is that your excuse for spending hour on end here? Cause if it is, that's good. :hairbang:

I'll have to remember to take my camera to work one day, we have this raised floor, and the room I'm in has been a computer room for 20 + years. Everytime they upgrade equipment, they ran new wires, but didn't pull the old. It got so bad in places we had to remove the old to make room for the new. With an 8" raised floor. :eek:

Yeah, it's kind of a pet peeve of mine too. It's just that after a year or so of switching out puters, printers, modems, cables, etc..., it gets to the point where I just HAVE to pull it all out and redo it. Pisses the wife right off too.
 
You wanna see a mess of wires? The company I work for makes high speed A/V switchers and routers for the broadcasting industry. Ever seen one of those tractor trailers parked outside a sporting event with a gazillion cables coming outta it? We had one of those trucks parked at our company for two weeks so we could take some measurements for some new equipment. I was bewildered at the mess-o-wires that are in those trucks.
 
I tried to make mine neat. I even cut a hole in the side of the desk. This is what happened :D
