Damn, there's no option for me there, it's more like worktime has been renamed 'playtime', i.e buggering about posting nonsense on the net. Hey well, it's their problem, they are the idiots who don't want to pay me more - just think of it as my way of being on a slow strike
 
That is a very good point....I get about $8 an hour (£5.25) for answering customer service emails...bleh
 
Every place I've ever worked has cut of (or restricted) my internet access after the first week or so :D

I can post OK for one job (I'm basically alone) but the second one...I have t' be careful. Too many religious folk abouts. They might get upset by some of the near-porn on here, eh?
 
i post between diapers, sippy cup refills, nose wipings, and blues clues episodes. does it alarm anyone that otc is my link to the world of adult conversation?

i would find it more alarming if OTC were your link to child rearing....
 
I get the luxury of visiting this place whenever I want. Being your own boss means you gotta do all the work, but it also means you get to decide when to do the work. Nobody is going to come in and tell me I can't do this or that. Hell, I can download porn all day long if I want. :D

Just dont send your PC to PC world for repairs a la Gary Glitter.

What gets me is that he hasnt sued for breach of the Data Protection Act (1998)
 
I only post from work, they don't pay me enough for me to do more than sit here and look pretty.

As for cutting my access, I'm they guy who does it at my office.

I've skipped meetings to post, saying I was working on a cascade failure problem (a la star trek TNG).

I love working with people who are scared of computers
 
I post about 90% of my posts from work. The window is almost always open to OTC, now whether I get to sit here all day and read or not depends on many factors out of my control. The really cool thing is that my boss knows what i do, and he's cool with it as long as when the shit hits the fan, I grab a broom.
