President Empathy

It is interesting that if you look at life expectancy of cancer victims and heart attack patients, it is much higher in the US.

Actually the incidents of deaths from cancer and heart disease in the US are pretty high compared to many other countries.

The answer to Spikes misleading stat is most likely a combination of genetics, auto deaths, diet, drug use, recreational activities, and, oh yeah, global warming.

Higher life expectancy couldn't have anything to do with health care. It's the recreational activities.

That's wierd....

August 22, 2007 — New reports from EUROCARE suggest that cancer care in Europe is improving and that the gaps between countries are narrowing. However, comparisons with US statistics suggest that cancer survival in Europe is still lagging behind the United States. The reports are published online August 21 in Lancet Oncology and scheduled for the September issue .

I could have swore I heard a duck.

Ah, I see you still don't comprehend (or you do and you are trying to mislead everyone) that cause and effect versus correlation thing. You posted stats that show Americans die from cancer more often than other countries. Which I'm supposed to conclude proves that our health care system is substandard. On the other hand, an intelligent person would look deeper and conclude that the statistics reflect a higher rate of cancer overall. Probably due to the Ozone layer.

Hey, I'll bet that if we look at Afgahnistan, we'll find that their cancer death rates are the envy of the world.:banghead:

I didn't state any cause/effect.

You asked "Who wants to live to be a 100 anyway?" and I pointed out that life expectancy is often longer in countries with better healthcare systems.

You mentioned cancer, I pointed out the US is very high on the list as far as death from cancer goes.

I can imagine that it's getting frustrating for you not to have any logical way of debating this issue.

Interesting article here.
"Debunking the Health Care Myth: The United States Has the Best Health Care System? Not Even Close..."

Its a great article spike, but its just pearls cast before swine unfortunately. Universal health care isn't not an if it is a when. Unfortunately I think it might still be several years off, but if Obama pulls this shit off, I'll shout the man's praises.

Some people want free shit and that's what they get shit.
They want someone else to give them their shit.

Others are willing to pay for their products and services
and want quality.

So we have a line the free loading shit people line up over here to the left
and the paying customers to the right.

And the wealthy they don't even come near here they get the really good stuff.

No wait I've just described the current 3 tiered medical system in America
and its a danged good system, leave it the hell alone.

Let the free loaders DIE!

Where does the United States Federal Government get the authority to take my tax dollars & convert them to healthcare for anyone else?

That still doesn't give them authority. That just keeps my fight down.

Works out considering we voted for people who would address our healthcare system's problems.

They pass bills that they're supposed to because the people voted for people who would fix the healthcare system. Kinda the opposite of dictatorial since it's what the people voted for.

Well dang the next time I vote I will certainly
pay more attention and not punch out the chad next to:
I want shitty socialist health care rammed down my throat.

The people wanted niggers kept in their place & look what happened.
