Hows that working out, you ask?
Not too well.

The light turns green, and I see her with both hands up on the back of her head, looking like she's putting her hair in a pony tail. She drives this way for two blocks before the road starts to curve. No, we don't have shitty drivers out there.
Inkara1 said:She was just testing the front end alignment. If she can drive for two blocks without the car pulling to either side, her alignment's fine.
Gato_Solo said:Have the police 'wean' her by removing her license for a bit. Point is...if eating/talking/listening to music/etc is more important than driving, she shouldn't be behind the wheel. Tell I said so.
wimp
chcr said:Unfortunately, it's not against the law. Note that she doesn't do it when I'm in the car, but when I clean the car there are always coke cans and chip bags in it.
Gato_Solo said:Reckless driving is legal in your state? You do know that eating/drinking/makeup/shaving/cell-phones/etc. can be prosecuted under reckless driving statutes (the driver was being inattentive), don't you?
chcr said:Really? I thought they had to be driving in a reckless manner for the officer to have probable cause. I do have to admit that when there is traffic, she puts it away, and she doesn't let it interfere with her staying in one lane, driving straigh, etc. Oh, and at least she uses her signals, which makes her part of a very small minority here in TN, where the watchword is "Turn signals are a courtesy, not the law."
I should also point out that when she is concentrating strictly on driving she is very good.
