Like chcr said, that's because the change has to be made with the culture there,
not try to change each person here. ;)

Then would someone PLEASE tell me why so many people are trying to do just precisely that? A kid from the sticks is told these very things on a daily basis.

Maybe THAT'S the real issue...it's not a black/white issue. It's not a homo/hetero thing. It's not a Muslim/Christian/Satanist/Athiest/Whateverism thing at all. It isn't even a male/female issue. It's a metro/rural thing after all. See, I knew it! :jester:


Seriously, if we admit that re-education is a failure, that we ourselves would reject it outright, then why do we insist on doing it? :retard3:

Because it's so much fun to tell the other person how wrong they are, no matter what they're doing. It's a misapplication of the 'alpha' societal member. ;)

Seriously, I think it's some of both, but yes mainly the latter. :confused:
and
about the re-education....it probably works in a very small percentage, and
to some that justifies spending millions on it. :lol2:
