So what does it take : Negative Karma

I think I've given it three or four times, besides to A13, that is.

Usually if you are insulting beyond what I would consider ok, you get it. If you are just plain ignorant, I figure you probably wouldn't know it was bad anyway, so don't bother.

Not really since the only thing I alter in my profile is my title and signature, I have never cared to look at other options.

That comment was reffering to negative karma, not all karma.
 
I use it sometimes because i think it's a cute way to compliment people for stuff they write. Never sent negative except to A13.
