Some Americans are just stupid.

Yes I'm American, but some Americans are just plain stupid.

File is about 1.7 MB :D For those of you that don't know, Talking to Americans is about Canadians going into the States to prove that Americans are stupid. They ask common knowledge questions relating to Canada and capture the priceless answers.

By the way Edmonton is in Alberta, and we have 10 provinces, not 5 states.

And people wonder why I hate Americans because of their knowledge of our country!

no, no, no, it's "Do you support the bombing of the West Edmonton Mall?" ;)

and I betcha Hobart says yes :D

It's not that we're stupid, we just don't care. Get over it already. :D

Why should we learn about a country that despises us so? The hatred is really going to make us want to run out and learn. Nothing is ever going to change, even if every American knew everything about Canada. There are so many more reasons to hate us than just that, apparently. :p

LL, you say you are American and Canadian... How many years have you lived in each country? Where were you born? To be considered an American, even if you were born in another country, all you would have to do is become a citizen. As long as you don't go around bitching about the place all the time, I don't think anyone would have a problem with calling yourself an American.

But other countries? Is living in a country a few years enough to consider it 'home'? I'm not saying you aren't LL, I'm just curious as to the other members of the board, and what they would think about that.

Well...after hearing about the Canadian Defense forces last night, and their budgetary problems, Canada will soon be a part of the US anyway. ;)

*rant mode on* I have no problems with Canadians. Just problems with anti-Americans. You can be pro-Canada and not anti-US at the same time, you know. It really sticks in my craw when a neighbor starts throwing mud like that. I'm sure that every Canadian knows everything about the states. Little things like:

Nixy Without googling, what is the capital of Pennsylvania?
What year was the US Constitution written?
*Rant mode off*

Good one Gato :D BTW, this was a JOKE guys, a JOKE! Green, I've never lived for more than 7 years in any one country, but I do consider the USA home sweet home and consider myself American first.
