Sorry folks, but you're wrong...

soft drinks are EASILY as harmful as coffee to the body. they likely contribute to escalating health care costs far more than coffee.

of course neither should be subject to special tax.

I never said harmful to the body. I took their words and used them. They want to tax soft drinks because they have caffeine. But coffee and tea, which have exponentially more caffeine (the taxed substance), are exempt.
