All this finger pointing, bashing & general bad karma towards us, the U.S. & anything capitalistic without a single shred of verifiable proof or absolute evidence is getting old. The people on this board have been 20. Some of us have 20 year anniversaries (or more) on our 20th birthday. You've never been 35, 40, 50.

So please, share your opinion. It's entertaining. Present facts (those require a named outside source) & proof (those require a credible named outside source) along with your opinion to further your case. Just drop the "you're all brainwashed, ignorant, incompetent, biased hatemongers" bit. You may be surprised at just how far that is from the truth, should you decide to talk to us & not at us.

Is it my fault that you don't know how to handle a progressive minded individual with a completely alternative perspective, not afraid to persist in fowarding her point of view? I don't think so.

I'll tone it down, if such liberating freedom of speech really disturbs you - attempting to censor me merely supports my stance further, proves my point. And really, theres no need to be condescending... Age has nothing to do with it - although it might do where you consider you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

And no, I'm not trying to be funny...underneath all this blatant sarcasm of mine is a definate concern about the real world.

You'd think so but no. It isn't about immediate gratification, it's about not talking to a wall (or typing to a wall for you PC bastards). General experience dictates that I won't change your opinion and vice versa...the only thing that differes is that you'll go on and on, while I will start watching T.V.

Hey how come I never got one of these threads when I first came here? Certainly I wasnt doing my part to spew the normal conservative dogma of the day and was therefore subject to organized ridicule by the conservative powers that be? What am I chopped liver?... *handonhip

Lemme see, it's now considered "ganging up" to attempt to lessen the volatility in the RW? I only suggested she use facts & proof to back up her arguments.

I pointed out that she is, in fact, less than half our age (some of us), a near certain bet that she has seen, experiencedand/or read less than most, yet she has to gall to call us racist, homophobic & whatever the other liberal keyword was she used.

Ahem, not ALL kiwis share the same views or ideals.... in fact the one ideal we have here that I do agree with is our nuke free policy.
