Your thoughts are not new nor shocking to us. We have had many people come and go from many viewpoints all over the spectrum. You are only catching as much hell and ridicule as you dish out yourself. Your tone need not be so condescending to get your point across. The other liberals of the board can hold a discourse without resorting to the 'last angry woman' bit. I'm conservative and still catch hell from these guys from time to time because I don't have the slightest bit of religion in me. Just take it to heart that your tone is alienating moderates. Open that clenched fist once in a while.

Quite simply, The "real world" aint that fun where it can't even tolerate anything contrary to the dominant consensus.

I DO provide facts, and reasonable proof, and the thing is where I don't I already feel that what I am stating is blatantly obvious simply because the proof is already there - but the thing is - anything oppositional to your own ideas you will simply dismiss as invalid simply because you don't want to hear or take the time to weigh it up and face the facts.
 
TG, the problem is not that you are being suppressed (although gonz' comments in the beginning of this thread are certainly idiotic). The problem is that you can tend to come across as needlessly aggressive, and condescending. :shrug: What you have to say is not new, we've heard it all before. I was spouting the same stuff 2-3 years ago. :shrug:

With BoP, Leslie, chcr, Thulsa Doom, AB Normal, Freako... et al ad nauseum, how can you call this a fascist stronghold? There are as many on the left if not more here... not to mention the large cadre of fairly neutral types. You only seem to see the people that take issue with you and challenge your position.
