our highway limit is 100-110km/h

yeap, that's the about the max speed of that car, yet they say it can't go fast enough for highway. which made me think Canada had a speed limit of over 100km/h (aka non-pussy)

ohhhhh, i thought in USA and Canada people respected speed limits (never been there, but that's what i've heard), glad to know we are not the only ones that break the rules

this is my rule:
LuisSpeedLimit = SpeedLimit * 1.5;

usually the accepted limit here goes something like this
if(on street || in vicinity of police patrol) {
speed = (speedLimit() + 5);
} else {
speed = (speedLimit() + 15);
}

hmmm, so your speed limit is 75mph (120km/h), sounds reasonable and safe, a little lower than mine, usually 140-150km/h (93mph)
