Question: would an old beater laptop serve you any during that period of recovery? Modem and network cards standard.


We're in the early stages of moving offices and there's a lot of machines we've been told to not put the effort into repairing. Early PentiumIII machines ... but they'll do the job. Might have a line on the screen, or a busted hinge (the most common problems with this model).

SnP...don't hold your breath on that laptop too hard...Canada Post doesn't like Prof too much...they like to return packages to him instead of where they're supposed to be going...I'm thinking he did something to piss them off at some point!
