We knew there was a danger of that, and that we would have to protect them.

Now, if you had actually started out in this thread by vocalising your feelings that we are partly or wholly responsible for the burning oil wells, simply because we knew it was a likely reaction to our attack, then we could have debated that topic. That viewpoint certainly has merrit, and perhaps a reasonable discussion could have followed.

Instead, you made yourself look like a complete ass by making such a narrow-minded polarized statement as you did. That someone could take their partisanship to such extremes is disgusting. I thought that, in the end, we are all human beings, but sometimes I read things that make me question that belief.

You know, I think what he's trying to say is that you don't always have to make a sarcastic remark. Perhaps we could have some kind of discussion with you where you don't just throw insults and sarcasm?

I respond in like kind, but I'm rarely the one to start the downward spiral. PT is correct, sometimes you jump into a thread determined to argue against someone, not what they say. So yeah, I think making the most out of your sarcastic comment might do some good, if it brings that to your attention.

You're absolutely the only person in the entire thread to use personal insults.

I really didn't have to go far to prove that point.
 
I've heard 7-15 oil rigs. PT says he's heard 30. Either way, bad but there are over 1000 rigs in teh Iraq desert. As of now, the SEALs have control of a majority of them.

I'll ignore flav, he's high or something.
