That's what they'll do but there's more to it then that. It has to be covered up right away or it'll start burning again.

Well...it doesn't matter to Cheney either way. His is severance pay. He's the former CEO of Halliburton and upon quitting was given a choice of severance packages to choose from. One uncluded a bundle of something like $8,000,000.00 and the other was to spread it out over a 5-6 year period for tax reasons. Being a savvy businessman he made the wise choice.

I wasn't the first in this thread, but I did get a bit peeved by your comment. Still, this thread is hardly an example, merely an exception. The one doesn't prove the rule, as you asserted. I don't often do anything of the sort.

Absolutely not! I think others used the words desparate, ridiculous and stupid to describe you or your comments.

Still though, I went too far with my "human" statement, and I do apologize for that. I know you were just making a sarcastic statement, and I was trying to make a point that perhaps you should be a bit less impulsive with your responses. In doing so, I did the very thing I was condemning you for. I won't take back the "ass" comment though. We all make asses of ourselves from time to time, as I have clearly demonstrated here. It just wouldn't be much fun otherwise, would it?
