dude...I did one of those "I'm laughing but I shouldn't be" laughs when I read this and got the inevitable spit spray on my monitor!!

Seriously though...sorry to hear about the phone...I like my motorola which I've had for like 4 years...when I get another phone I'm going motorola again I think...although I haven't bought a phone in many years (obviously)

This is why I tell people to pay the extra $4 a month for insurance.

I should also take this opportunity to point out how often people come in telling me they left the phone plugged in all night and it didn't charge up at all... and yet the phone charges up just fine when I plug it in using the charger jack instead of the headset jack.

DAMN, that sucks....I dropped mine straight down in a cup of coffee before, in some water, & then decided...Ummmmm, insurance is must for me...Only to find out that I did it again and there was a $50 deductable...

Spot....clip it on, clip it on.... :D

tries to find alittle humor in this: call your phone when someones pissing, start talking to them. :lol2:

My suggestion... never use the toilet! :D

No seriously though... that is bad... I've dropped mine in a toilet before... but it wasn't flushing... so I rescued it...

It was my own wee... I washed my hands!!!! :bolt:

i did the same on the ship...what's bad is i had to call the hull tech's and explain what happened before it ruined the system. embarrasing.

Too cute for words
I have to keep the toilets clean at home because the dogs and cats think it's a water dish.

Call it and see if anyone answers...if they do, offer a low reward.

Hell, if they were where they actually could find your cell now...they need the money :D

Ok..in all seriousness. Talk to your building manager. Depending ont eh size of your phone, it might still be in the U pipe and retrieveable.

That is why I never had my cell phone in my front scrub pocket. I also was throwing up a lot at the time, so I had plenty of pens fall into the toliet, but luckily never the cell phone.

A friend of mine once flushed her pager (yes it was that long ago) down the toliet and they had to hire some plumber specialists to come and take apart the toliet in order to make the toliet work again because the pager was blocking the flow in the pipes. This happened the night before the big CHristmas party. We all had to walk down to the basement to pee.

I'm sorry, but this thread made me giggle.

the phone was tiny. went down with no effort whatsoever.
the plumber was notified. they never got back to me so i guess someone at the water treatment plant is going to be suprised.

maybe i'll get this phone
