THOUGHTS ON GUN CONFISCATION

How about the UK way of gun control? Doesn't the UK have a total ban on handguns? If so, then how did this happen? Surely that ban took all of those weapons off the streets...

Six people have been shot in the space of an hour in a spate of shootings in London and Bristol.
Two men have died and another was seriously injured in a triple shooting at a busy south London nightclub at 0310 BST on Saturday.

The victims, both believed to be in their 30s, are thought to have been gunned down inside the club.

In Bristol, two women were shot and left outside a police station while a man was shot in a separate incident.

'Out of control'

The Victims of Crime Trust condemned the violence, saying it proved gun crime in the UK is "out of control".

National director Norman Brennan said: "This crime cannot be allowed to become an acceptable part of life in Britain. The easy accessibility of guns in this country is very worrying."

He called for tougher sentencing, tighter customs controls on gun imports and an increase in stop and searches in high risk areas.
