I only had the gas when I had mine out and all of mine were broken through the skin. I was still on the couch for two days. I woke up to eat (soup broth, pudding, and painillers) and was knocked out by the painkillers the rest of the time!!!

Good luck with the procedure btw

Just to settle your nerves, anesthesia is more dangerous than the surgery. Enjoy :D
 
So are you going to be all numbed up and stuff....just don't forget to wipe up the drool every once and while lest you look like some drooling dog....hmmm...well it would be Halloween so I guess you could get away with it :D
