We used to get Andy Capp in our local paper. They took it out because they said he's a bad role model. I didn't know he was supposed to be a role model, I thought he was just supposed to be funny.

I remember one where he came up behind his wife (Flo), and kissed her on the back of the head. She just smiled. Then he knocked her across the room, and said, "that's for not turning around to see who it was."

He's definately NOT a role model. I see him as a "piss take" of a certain type of old fashioned bloke who happily is dying out.
