That movie is one of the best, if not THE best children's fantasy movie of all time. I love it, I remember being enchanted by it as a kid.

Useless fact - Wolfgang Peterson also directed Three Kings, Das Boot, The Perfect Storm and Deep Blue Sea. That's quite cool, although a little odd...
