undertow is a really good album too, i really haven't listened to it enough, sadly I bought it for sober :disgust2: and haven't listened to more than a couple songs on it, i'll take it to school with me tomorrow.

also gwar (never really listened to them)
godhead (haven't listened to enough for an opinion)
marilyn manson :headbang: (good, but i have a hard time taking him seriously)
deicide (never heard of them, i'll have to get some)
slayer (haven't listened to enough for an opinion)
ozzy :headbang::headbang: ozzy kicks ass!
pantera (i never liked their music much)
godsmack :headbang:.5 (great tunes, but their music all sounds the same after a while and I lose interest)
NIN :headbang::headbang::headbang: now, i need to listen to "something I can never have"
white zombie :headbang: (good stuff too)

and that took me too long
The Smashing Pumpkins - Raindrops + Sunshowers

try these tracks: prison sex(2),4 degrees, intolerable(1),undertow(7) are all great and track 69 is called disgustipated. its actully kinda soft but funny if you get what hes saying

skinny puppy
front line assembly
ministry
death(another death metal band)
tools opiate(only 6 tracks 7 if the hidden counts but really good stuff)
older Sepultura(with Max Cavalera)
Soulfly
Judas Priest
Rollins band
Misfits
try those out. and one more i know many on here have never heard of
Murder Junkies(a friend used to sing for them hes now in 2 different bands a country and a punk band but the murder junkies before they broke up were hard the only reason i didnt like them is cause GG allin sang with them before Josh replaced him after he died)

Chet Baker - El Morro
how's that for a genre change?

I took Undertow to school today, good stuff.

Disturbed - Darkness

this is the first day of my last days
built it up now take it apart,
climbed up real high,
now fall down real far.
....

i used to love nin so damned much.

i personally prefer The Downward Spiral. it was the first album of theirs i'd heard, and i fell in love with it completely.
"the becoming", "i do not want this", and "hurt" were, like, the soundtrack of my life, at the time.
(my favorite song on the album, tho, has got to be "reptile")
i saw them live in may '00, and it was so beautiful and wonderful and overhwelming, i nearly cried.
i was once one of those weird kids who wore NIN shirts every day and wrote "TRENT IS GOD" and the NIN logo everywhere....

thankfully, i've stopped :headbang:

but nin = great :)

Pink Floyd - Learning to Fly

nin is awesome, i listen to the fragile a lot cuz I've got it ripped on my PC. Overall I think pretty hate machine is my favorite.
freako, have you heard of professional murder music?

Tool - 46 and 2

Metallica - Enter Sandman

Does anyone here have XM Radio? If you do, find Station 31 The Torch under the "Christian" category. It plays some nice rock music :headbang:
