reading

Battlefield Earth (Hubbard)
Armor (can't remember the author)
and Vampire Lestat (for the 8th time)

I'm currently reading The Restaurant at the End of the Universe - the second in a four-book trilogy by Douglas Adams. Though, I'm not sure what the fourth book is ...

I've also started The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, but haven't made it very far in it so I think I'll work on the Hitchhiker's books (above) and then work on this one.

Next in line after "Fountainhead" is the first book in Steven King's seven-book set, but I forget the name. "Dark Tower" or something? And after that I've got lined up The Ugly Little Boy by Isaac Asimov - the full-length book based on his short-story of the same name.

I'd also like to reread Piercing the Darkness by Frank Peretti.

So many books. So little time. *sigh*

Ah, okies. I thought the last two were stand-alones and weren't part of the "trilogy". Now I've gotta hunt for those two. I borrowed the first book Hitchhiker's Guide ... and bought the second two books. I'll tag the used book store to see if I can get books 1, 4 & 5 sometime this week.

I'm not a big King fan, to be truthful. But the book was loaned to me and recommended. My friend is reading the second book so he urged me to start the series - but I'm not supposed to read it too fast because he's not reading the second one fast enough and doesn't have the third yet. *lol*

The dark tower is not like any other of his books (excet maybe the talisman, and black house which he co-wrote with peter straub)

It's a really good read, especially if you like fantasy books, and the series progresses wonderfully, i have read 5 of them, and I plan on getting the rest before x-mas

SexyBoo and tonks:

I'm brand new here, hello! Anyway, you guys were talking about the Sleeping Beauty series. Did you know that they were written by Anne Rice? I'm currently enfatuated with her Vampire Chronicles, which, if I may add:

Anywho, Anne's an awesome writer, no?
