oh and now its German Chocolate belated birthday cake!
I can feel my arteries crystallizing as we speak
 
A can of black olives so I can take my breakfast meds. I need a bit on the tummy for it. I don't normally do brekkie other than coffee.
 
Home made oxtail soup, and a veggie medly of carrots, spinach, green beans, and asparagus...
 
Meat and veggies fried in the pan with pommes noisettes and peppercorn sauce. And more of that good riesling.
 
A fritatta with fresh herbs over baby spinach with shredded carrots, crumbled bacon, currants and jalapeno ranch dressing.
 
hmm, just had some chicken fingers, a piece of fried chicken, two cornbread muffins, some M&C, corn, and mashed potatos. Gotta love free lunch Friday's at work...

I'll be asleep in about 20 minutes...
 
We had an adult meal!
First course- A nice salad of various lettuce varieties with broccoli sprouts and shredded carrots, julienned radish and small chunks of cucumber, raspberrys and champagne grapes and roasted and salted pepitas. I had a papaya poppyseed dressing and Rob has a balsamic vinagrette. Plus there was a side of fresh avocados that spread over this course and the next.
Second course - spicy gobi cauliflower over a couscous and grain melody.
We washed it down with a nice mediterranean white wine.

The kids would've flipped :D
