What's for dinner

I imagine you could change the vinagrette however you like - it's just a recipe ;)

Last night was Mexican food with friends.

We were just givin a flat of Raspberries (12 of those little square boxes) any ideas .The wifes putting them on her cereal and I'm snacking .We will be freezing some, but any fresh berry recipes ,either entree or desert?

Make yogurt cream. 1:1 ratio of skim yogurt (plain) with full or lite cream. Whisk in bowl. Put a goodly amount of brown sugar on top (don't stir in). Cover with wrap & leave for the day - or for a few hours (say 4). When ready for dessert, stir it all together (or not as preference dictates) with berries of choice. Very yummy.

You can make jam...or a raspberry tart. That's a lot of raspberries!

We went to the big ethnic farmer's market today and, among many wonderful oddities, I bought a fish that is intimidating me (which is a good thing). I am thinking of pan searing it (it's common jack cut in steaks) with a mango ginger sauce. I have a recipe for the sauce in a Caribbe cookbook but it calls for salmon. I shall have to research it further.

Bought some boneless duck breasts and some goat stew meat as well as some sausages, too. The veggies were amazing! We stocked up for sure.

Calzone again last night. Stuffed with spanakopita filling (spinach, dill, onions & garlic + leek - all ingredients pan-fried, and then baby spinach & dill added in until wilted), skinned seeded tomato, hot salami, spinach pesto & jarlsberg cheese. Very tasty. :D

It was! Left-overs for lunch. Man, is there anything better than left-overs? I wish the flavours were this merge-y when they're first served up, LOL.

We had pork tenderloin marinated in whole cranberry sauce and claret syrup, southern style green beans with lil' red potatoes, and fried plantains.

It's my friend's birthday and he's bringing over a sake cake from Japan (he just got back). I wonder what sake in a cake tastes like?

and since that's the only item on the menu so far, i guess that's dinner :D

A friend of mine and I are doing girlie night and cooking dinner. Salmon, rice, yam fries so far...I better get to googling how to cook this salmon!

I was very very naughty today aaaand... had 2 dinners!

Smoked Salmon fetaccine (that spelt right? doubtful!) and a nice salad with pepper and beetroot

THEN... 6 hours later at 10pm... oh the shame... the depravity of it all!...

McDonald's McChicken Sandwich meal and a Mint Cornetto McFlurry!

*hides in shame!*

Wow I'd imagine thats a big loss but I worky in stones and pounds... so not too sure!
