RIVERDALE, Georgia (AP) -- Two teenage girls wanted in the stabbing deaths of one of the girl's grandparents were captured by police along the Georgia coast on Tuesday.

In Archie's hometown, no less...

It's getting more and more disgusting to hear these kinds of stories. If it's not parents killing their children it's things like this. I don't care how you feel about your grandparents. Killing them is not a solution. Here are two people who took in their granddaughter because obviously her own parents couldn't take care of her, and this is how she repays them. Real Nice!!! I'm glad they're being charged as adults. They deserve it!

Endless nagging perhaps?

Whether they're nagging her or not, they're her grandparents. they're older, not in tune with todays youth like some parents are. They are usually set in their ways. You just have to accept them and love them for who they are and be thankful you have a roof over your head.

Speculation is that they were lesbian lovers and did this so they could "run away together". Obviously, Gramma and Grampa weren't too thrilled with the idea, and had tried to keep their granddaughter from seeing the other kid before. The catalyst seems to have been the grandparents' refusal to let them borrow their truck and go to the beach.

I'd link to the news stories, but the AJC demands registration these days. Let's see if this works:

See, its was a crime of love.

After all the grand parents were obviously christian-fundi's, they prolly were homophobes too and deserved to die for being hurtful.

:lol:

Fortunately, violence on TV, in video games, in song lyrics and in movies is not desensitizing our children to violence and glorifying criminal behavior.

people have no respect anymore, or so it seems. and the value of a human life has been going down the drain as well the last few years. sad, very sad.

If you read a little further, you'll find that her Mama is in jail on a drug charge, and Daddy's long gone. I'm a lot more inclined to look there for blame than to games, music, TV, yada,yada.

Wow.

Authorities arresting a teenager accused of murder in the stabbing deaths of her grandparents found a poem the 15-year-old had written that contained the last line, "All I want to do is kill."

An investigator with the Fayette County Sheriff's Department says Holly Harvey also wrote a reminder list of things to do during the killings....

<snip>

Jordan also says Harvey "openly laughed" when she saw the number of officers who had come to arrest the two in Tybee Island.

<snip>

Police said the girls planned the attack a few days ahead of time. Harvey let Ketchum into the house, and then the two ambushed the grandparents in the basement, police said.

I really don't want that little bitch sharing the streets with me in this town. Ever. Talk about the poster child for the death penalty...
