Seeing that thread in the RW forum, about the sheep that prof posted,
made me think. I have a rather limited meat variety that I Always eat.
Beef
pork
chicken
(eggs, penutbutter...other "meat group" foods.)
Deer, when I can get it.
I've never tried caviar, quail, duck, goose, lamb, moose, turtle, snake, cat, dog, possum....
What all have you tried, like, and disliked.
My mom ate caviar one time, and spit it out. She said it was awful.
My great-grandmother, as I was told, did in fact cook some possum. I hear
it's a chore to to get the grease out.
I don't think I want to try some dishes.
Edit: I would like to try a bison burger some day though.
