The press is starting to wake up and grow some balls

GWB was slammed daily by all the other news organizations and his administration handled it with class. obama is an amateur and lacks the experience, knowledge, and backbone to be in the office.

Bush was given a pass on many things by the media and he still handled them with zero class. Including planting their people posed as independent commentators and many other manipulation techniques. Bush simply didn't have the intelligence, knowledge, or backbone to be in the office.

Gallup polls? I thought they liked obama.
Peggy Noonan offers some insight to whats happening.

It's His Rubble Now

At a certain point, a president must own a presidency. For George W. Bush that point came eight months in, when 9/11 happened. From that point on, the presidency—all his decisions, all the credit and blame for them—was his. The American people didn't hold him responsible for what led up to 9/11, but they held him responsible for everything after it.

<s>

President Obama, in office a month longer than Bush was when 9/11 hit, now owns his presidency. Does he know it? He too stands on rubble, figuratively speaking—a collapsed economy, high and growing unemployment, two wars. Everyone knows what he's standing on. You can almost see the smoke rising around him. He's got a bullhorn in his hand every day.

It's his now. He gets the credit and the blame. How do we know this? The American people are telling him. You can see it in the polls. That's what his falling poll numbers are about. "It's been almost a year, you own this. Fix it."

Its funny how he never owns anything, he denies everything. Its always someones fault, never his.

Obama is so busy attacking the bad press he doesn't have the time to lead a nation (providing he was actually capable of leading a real nation)

how about Now :eyemouth:

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck. What has he signed lately?

Just seven months into his term -- and 14 months before the 2010 midterm election -- and could it be, is President Obama already a lame duck?

With his passive management style -- which inevitably led to overreaching and heavy-handedness by Congressional Democrats Obama has made himself largely irrelevant on many of the issues he ran on, from health care "reform" to "resetting" our foreign relations. Here are seven signs that Obama's political suasion is waning:

He doesn't want to risk his "peace award" standing by sending more troops to a WAR!

I believe it has been nearly 2 months since McCrystal asked for more troops.
McCrystal let it be known to the POTUS in June! He wanted 60k, 40k was the lowest number.

He cares more about his liberal wacko-commies then he does about the mens who lives depend on him.

Peggy Noonan? Well if she says so then it must be true.

You made that up.

Actually, mentioning the bad press doesn't take much time away from leading the nation.

Sending more troops would jeopardize more lives. So that would show he does care.

At this rate we won't have too wait for the resounding defeat
the Dems will inflict on themselves in 2010
Opinion has turned and they will abandoned the rat
that got them into this long before the election.
Americans won’t tolerate this and will overcome!

Things are worsening daily there and in other arenas
Americans are at greater risk for attack than ever before!
If 9-11 and Boosh’s subsequent successful actions made his
Presidency any setbacks will damage Obama’s

Dick Cheney was correct when he said:

"Half-measures keep you half-exposed," Mr. Cheney said during a speech Wednesday night at the Center for Security Policy in Washington. "It's time for President Obama to do what it takes to win a war that he has repeatedly and rightly called a war of necessity. . . . It's easier to blame the Bush administration than support our troops."

If only we had a real patriot instead of a megalomanic in the WH.

We can stay off this health care with the COTUS for a while. 2010 will be most interesting, the voters remorse is deep from 2008.

I wonder if an enemies list is an impeachable offense?

Had he followed the plan left to him by GWB just how many lives could have been saved ... the surge worked.

Too bad CiC can't ever make stand one way or the other .... "PRESENT!"

Its not just the press, a voice of the peoples interest. The White House is deying the people answers via their elected officials.

Controlling the conversation by running scared.

W.H. to Congress: Policy 'czars' won't testify

The White House has told Congress it will reject calls for many of President Obama's policy czars to testify before Congress - a decision senators said goes against the president's promises of transparency and openness and treads on Congress' constitutional mandate to investigate the administration's actions.

lol -- can't take the heat, get out of OUR house.

What is even more shocking is that that he doesn’t know
that the path Boosh was taking all those years in Afghanistan
was the right one to follow. He's really stepped in it now,
it's like a bear trap, the more you struggle to escape
the deeper the jaws of the trap tear into your flesh
until finally you realize the only way to escape is to
tear off your leg or die.

He is rapidly approaching the point where he will lose
no matte what he does. He will end up tearing off his
foot and then bleed to death.

The One's college thesis is about to surface
and it is gonna be another kick in the balls for him.

“… the Constitution allows for many things, but what it does not allow is the most revealing. The so-called Founders did not allow for economic freedom. While political freedom is supposedly a cornerstone of the document, the distribution of wealth is not even mentioned. While many believed that the new Constitution gave them liberty, it instead fitted them with the shackles of hypocrisy.”

Rush mentioned it today, next week it will hit them in the face
