Checked out Alienware a bit...and here's what I came up with..

1.5 to around 2k is the budget...and I'll need a monitor, keyboard, and mouse.

ok...I got a question. Sometimes my computer will make a little buzzing noise, like something's spinning. Does it randomly and stops by itself. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks :)

Just wondering if anyone downloaded the new security update from Windows Update yet coz a friend of mine did and it kind of screwed up his OS. Anyone encounter anything with it? ?(

Update Ok...seems the problem was that one of my stick of RAM was burned to high heaven due to my comp being overclocked (which I didn't do since I'm a total computer illiterate) Anyhow, hopefully it's all fixed now that they've replaced the RAM, reset the BIOS, and reformatted/reinstall.

Yep, was working before. And I have those updates listed plus Q328970, Q329929 p/s: I also can't open a link with the open in another window

XP and I downloaded something from the Windows Update for IE, I think

IE 6. And it's every site. But I can still download, just can't open links in a 2nd window. P/s: Another thing, is this a problem? :P

Whenever I click on a link in IE that opens a new window, the 2nd window never loads...just a blank screen. Anyone have any ideas about this? Thanks much ;)

Btw, I didn't compress any files, I think it did it automatically. Is there a way for me to uncompress them or uncheck any further compression? :P

If I do the disk cleanup and clear the compressed old files. Is that bad? :P Thanks

I remember writing documents and having to change each line using code coz there wasn't any word processing program :p

I've experienced a couple of these and no, I don't know how to debug it and I have no idea what's causing them. Question is...can I just leave them :P or do I have to bring the comp in to be looked at? Thanks
