the way he looked? shit the other guys with the hair looked more like a girl than he did. and they all wore that faggy leather and spikes shit.

do you own chaps?

i doubt very much the songs had dual meanings. is "the ripper" also about him taking a dong that was too big and gettin' all torn'd up? i doubt it.
Thanks. You just made my point on that first part.

Rob himself said the songs had different meanings in an interview. (I can see if I can find it, if you want)

and....No I don't have any chaps, but there are some welding chaps here that belong to my brother.
Anyway, when they came out with "British Steel", and the song "Hell bent for Leather",
Rob brought out a Harley on stage, and gave an impression of an American gang style look,
like the Hell's Angles, so it made it appear as a tough guy persona.

LOL no i didn't make your point, i was joking. the leather comes right out of gay leather bars. heavy metal was dressed by S+M-loving gay clubgoers. that's what makes it so funny, because heavy metal is uber cockrock, hypermasculine... er wait, the leather scene has a lot of hypermasculine folks too... hmmmmm...

hey sailor boy...

yeah you made my point by pointing out the other members who weren't gay,
"looked" more gay than Rob did. Joke or no.
but, you should remember....maybe you don't, but that was way before PC and
being gay was a persecutable offense.
Most people thought all gays were prissy acting.
Now it's commonly known that not all of them are effeminate acting.
Rock Hudson broke that myth open though.

well, I'll tell ya. I don't 'prefer' either.
but...
My great uncle (who die several year ago) was gay, but never admitted it verbally
or showed it in public, but we knew...(some of us family members) but my
grandmother didn't. Until he died. The his partner who was no blood relation,
but we knew as uncle Bob came to claim certain items in the house my
uncle Ernie owned here. The lived in Atl, but came up on the weekends.
Then Bob showed his bitch side. My uncle Ernie had left the house here
to my grandmother and Bob didn't like it.

anyway,...so I guess that's where I get my view point which is....
I can work, and have even defended gay guys that acted, what I consider, normally.
If a guy gay or not acts prissy, it turns my stomach. (unless it's a joke of some sort)
now I view lesbians somewhat the same. (like Janet Napolitano) whether she is
gay or not, see makes me nauseous.
