for me romance isn't candles and wine and being pretentious...it's a day to day sweetness and kindness that will get me every time. :)

Romance?....I know nothing of this ...romance

Oh, wait....Is that like when you're working under the car and you ask her to hand you a long, half inch drive extension and a swivel, 12 point, 11/16 socket....and she gets it right? :retard:
That is exactly what I was going to say.

Romance? Hmm...the details depend on the girl (sorry guys/gals, I hate the sappy, canned, wine-based scenarios ripped straight from Days of Our Lives :p), but it'd probably involve days of hiking in the mountains, sleeping by the creeks, and every night watching the stars. :)

I know this is for the guys... but I think he's on the right track. Plus the day to day little things; like the smiles and hugs that pass between 2 people when life gets hectic. :)

Well, the only problem is the mountains are a good 7-8 hours from here. Might have to get a hotel room for the first night. Then we could fuck. How's THAT for romance?

:p

A pill of ecstasy for the gal and couple of vodka shots for the man...watch magic happen....add in whips and chains and you got a story to tell your grandkids.

ahem...I'm born romantic and raised a gentleman. I'm assuming that you'd wnat a full date...let's say...4 hours (first or middle-date) - romance piled high and deep.

A quiet meal (cooked by yours truly) at home. (Pasta primavera, hot bread, whipped butter, Dessert)
A bottle of dry white wine, chilled
Vivaldi or Tcaichovsky in the background
Subdued lighting (no candles...I hate the glare from the centre-point)
Phones off, kid babysat, cats gagged and bound
After the meal, a steaming bath for two. (Wine, sliced cheese, black olives, pimiento rings) on the side.
A massage with scented oils
Making love all night

enough? or shall I describe the state of the bedroom before and after said lovemaking and meriiment
Such a romancer-karma karma karma for Bish.

Definately! One of the nicest things the BF did for me was make up a playing list of classical music in iTunes for me. I came home from work, and saw "Anna's Playing List"... Awww... (guess ya kinda have to be me to understand though...)

Give him her a divorce....the most romantic and thoughtful thing one can do for their significant other.

Ah yes...rough romance. We spent 10 days in Algonquin Park, canoe-camping with portages. The first clear night, I walked her down to the canoe with the pretence that something was wrong with it. Held the flashlight down on the ground. When we got to the canoe, she said "What did you want me to see?"

I turned off the flashlight, gently pushed her chin upwards with a finger and watched as the awe of seeing so many stars adn the milky way accross the night sky. Watched that for about 20 mins, not saying a word...I took her hand in mine, walked her back to the tent and 40 weeks later...I'm a poppa. (Yes, we did the math backwards and that was the night).

Spend the afternoon on a shopping dinner place, listening to live music, seeing old pictures, talking about life and dreams, times laying her head on my shoulder, times sharing soft kisses. That was my Sunday and I loved. :) I guess my standards aren't that high.
