Not a country music fan, in fact the two words don't belong in the same sentence. But there are a couple country songs that choked me up the first time I heard them.
One is called Wish You Were Here (I think). About a guy getting on a plane, sends a postcard home from the airport first, then it crashes and he dies. The wife gets the postcard afterward.
The other is by Ty Herndon I think. It's called A Man Holding On To A Woman Letting Go. Very pretty song.
If I listen closely to the song Diary Of A Madman by Ozzy Osbourne, I miss Randy Rhoads so much I'll tear up too. His guitar parts on that are beyond ungodly.
If I been drinkin', I'll get misty at I Love You by Climax Blues Band. A little close to home it hits.
