The "WHY" thread...

Why do croutons come in airtight packages? It's just stale bread to begin with.

Why do they lock gas station bathrooms? Are they afraid someone will clean them?

Why don't sheep shrink when it rains?

:lol2:

1 they may be stale, but they're still subject to mold.

2 to keep vagrants from living in them.

3 Lanolin.

Anything else?

BTW, this should be in the trivia section.

haha, i think that was supposed to be rhetorical.... kind of like,

why are they called "apartments" when they're all stuck together?

and stuff.

I would imagine that apartments were originally called apartments, because originally the "undesirable" lived in them, ie poor, single mothers, irish, etc. And apartments were a way of geographically segregating these "undesirables" from the rest of the population.

Why are we reluctant to be happy?

Why do we long for what means nothing to us?

Where de it all go wrong for us?

Why do we force our desires in a corner in order to fake civility and respect?

Why is it that the most valuble belongings are the ones we choose to throw away?

Why is that you don't know what've got till its gone?

Why do we waste youth on money and money on youth?

Why do I analyze knowing full well no one will answer?

Why the fuck do we ask questions no one can answer?

Why can't we simply admit that we just want to be involved in others lives?

Why do we ponder what we can never know?

Why do we regret what we could never have?

Why can't we realize regret is not an enemy to run away from?

Why do we risk needlessly to feel alive?

Are we really that thirsty for life?

Why does the needle on a car's fuel gauge drop faster from 1/4 to empty faster than it drops from 3/4 to 1/4?

I've wondered that myself... in my car, I get 60-105 miles to the first quarter (depending on the kind of driving) and then 50-70 to the second and third quarter, and probably another 30 from the 1/4 line to the red mark at the bottom... and another 30 or 40 to the bottom of that red mark... and when it's to the bottom of the red mark it will usually take about 11.5 gallons (12.5 gallon tank).

Why is it that two wrongs don't make a right, but three rights make a left?
