You going to move in before Christmas, I hope.

Same house with the same renovations going on. Same van, same S.O. , two kids (although if I blink, they seem to get bigger and more smart-alecky... same job but with new bosses (cause they fired the old one).

I'm not sure where he got it from but my son and I were in a store the other day. He spotted some Spiderman hoodie and said in a clear and audible voice

"OMG!!! They have cool stuff here!" - with the perfect pauses between the Oh!!...My!!...God!!!

My life...

Love, I used to feel alone (as in no relationship) and miserable, now I only feel alone, it isn't that bad, I've learned to be alone and actually enjoy it. I'd like to start a new relationship, but I know that won't happen soon so there's no other choice but to stay alone for a while and be happy with it.

Masters, I'm finishing the 3rd semester and it all seems to look fine again, my thesis work has been stalled for about a month now because I got one of those lazy momentums. Today I started to study, make notes and abstracts about everything I read, more books are on the way. Still not reading state-of-the-art publications mainly because I still don't reach state-of-the-art level in audio coding.

Health, I can't complain, I wish I could go out and run but I just don't like to do it alone and nobody wants to join me.

Money, not a problem, I got to save $1000 (pesos) from last month, I need to save more this month because I must pay around 3% of my car's value (yearly) which this year will be around $4000. I won't be going out on vacation until March or late February *bugger*

Friends, many are more busy with their jobs and lives, I still enjoy talking to them and making plans to go out and drink some beers with them. It is all good, as you could expect, I've got new friendships at my postgrade and most of them are the intellectual type, ohhh and NO WOMEN here.

Personal, I feel quite different from the guy I was a few years back, finally I feel like an adult and not just someone "grown up". I'm aware of the things I can do, the things I can't do and the things I must work for. I have a direction and goals, even if I don't succeed (which is unlikely) at least I have a direction to pursue.

In overall, I'm happy with my life.

I got my engineer professional license (it takes about a year to get after you received the degree). And in about 2 months I'll get the Master in Sciences in electrical engineering degree.

I've traveled, I've partied and gotten drunk. Money is starting to be scarce with all this sudden expenses I've had, but all in all I'm great and very pleased with my life.

Academic, I'm in the process of getting my MSc professional license. It is a mere id card and it doesn't matter that much 'cause I already have the degree, but I'd like to have it anyway.

Work, I got my masters degree. I started to work for the same faculty. I have little over a year now in this position. If things go right, I might get a lifetime contract in 2007. I can't complain about job, I get offers frequently, but I'm sticking for the university, in the long run it is much more convenient, even if right now I'm not making that much money.

Love, in a relationship. She's great as many of you already know :D

Health, I have a damn coughing I can't get rid of. Doctor say it must be an allergie.

Money, I wish I had more but I can't complain. I spend in everything I need (or want) to spend in and I'm still able to save some. I'm planning to buy a house and that's why the extra money would do me just fine.

Friends, where? j/k. Everyone is busy with their lives. I get to talk more with co-workers (which in fact are my friends now) than with my old friends, at most I see them once every two months.

Personal, I feel great.

Overall happiness score: 9.5

Well, I don't think I ever posted where I was here. I know that I made a pretty righteous rant over at JJR's about a year ago, but it's MIA now.

Put a bit over 5,000 miles on the Land Yacht since I got it in January. Replaced exhaust pipe, alternator, tires, various bulbs and liquids and stuff like that. Upgraded stereo to impress friends.

Been at circuit shitty for a year, give or take a few days. I don't recall my offical date of hiring, but I know that my training was completed 11/11/05.
Started out as temporary TV sales, did alright. Busted my balls, but I wasn't a great salesman. One of the assistant managers noticed it, and got me moved into Video Games, which was easier for me. He made sure that I got kept on when they fired all the other seasonals, the week after Xmas. Since then, my department went from 15 people to 5 people, and I had to really bust my balls to handle it, since 2 of them are complete lazy assholes, and 1 of them is somewhat flaky.
I'm now in charge of training the new people for the department. I'm pretty happy about that, since they chose the best employees from each section for it.

I'm approaching the end of my public education journey. The first half semester ends in a week or so. My application to Stevens is due November 15th, and I only need to submit my 99% complete essay and get my teacher to send in a letter of reccomendation. I'll know by December 15th whether or not I am accepted.

Back in my old rant, I was pissed off because I was nervous around people, and I played computer games like crazy. I had a tight group of friends, and only hung out with them. Now I'm charismatic as fuck. I get bored out of my mind when I'm bumming around by myself. My job forced me to be able to talk to weird people, and then they loaded up on hours that it forced me to not spend any time playing computer games. I don't do computer games any more.

Oh, and I dig 23. We've gone over this in the other thread. She's awesome.

Thanks for the visual... in any case, I thought you were looking for something new to ditch the clutch.

I will eventually get another truck, just on my terms instead of theirs. I'll manage the clutch until then.

Raped apes are roughly equivilent to scalded dogs in terms of initial speed, but do tend to maintain that speed substantially longer.

I'm still single, and no prospects in site.
No kids, but still helping raise 3.
Got the same vehicles.
I did get my mortgage redone since they upped the years from 30 to 40,
so I could get the payment down, and that helps.
We just got through getting the house roofed. (43sq)

It was cool having the members come up again on the 4th.
I hate that Mally's arm got burnt. Everything else seemed to go pretty good though.

Not much else has change. (that I can think of right off)

You know, I wanna meet the guy who'll rape an ape. Re the subject at hand, Dara's mom passed away in the spring. Her dad is living with us. Needless to say I'm thrilled, ain't I? Upgraded the home studio from all analog to mostly digital. Interesting but I've only had it a couple of weeks. I'm still figuring out how everything works. Work is still work, etc.

Hey chic, don't I remember you saying somewhere that you had a room
setup mainly for acoustics for your sound system?

Working in the private sector now, Software Engineer III. It demands a bit more of my time and energy, but the money's good. Family still lives here, I figure they got to start leaving soon though, the oldest graduates this year, and then I'm pretty sure we get reserved seats for the next two years after that, as two more will graduate next year, and one more the year after that. We've still got one in 8th and one down in 6th, but they're just getting bigger all the time. I think I still have my bluff in on them, but often times I wonder if they aren't the one bluffing me. Wife is still hanging around too, god knows why, but she puts up with me. The internet has become a tool to use to connect to the VPN at work so I can get on and fix minor problems, put in some overtime and other work related stuff. I still stop by here from time to time, so if you were wondering if I'm dead, I'm not. Yet. My life has become so thirtysomething it's almost disgusting.
