2006 BBQ Possibilities

4th of July area is always iffy for Homey though. If we did it on that week, his family unit would most likely disappear for a good 48 hours.

Maybe, maybe not. Last year was special. Lemme check with the sibs. We might do something later in the month, around Mom's B-day.

Also, V2.0 will be gone 6-24,25. We're happy to have him here, but if folks have allergies to children, that'a an option.

I'll check with my family regarding the 4th. The wife says anything works for her, so start throwing preferences out here, people. I'd like to nail down a date by the end of the month, which means getting it between 2 or 3 dates and setting up a poll by the end of the weekk, if that's the way we go about it.

*Watches for poll...we already planned a Chattanooga trip this summer, hopefully the BBQ dates will align with the house concerns*

I vote for it NOT being Canada Day weekend, that's the weekend I wanted to visit Prof at his cottage :lloyd:

Of course I could also visit him on labour day I suppose...

Fairlane Club national meet is in Reno July 8, a Saturday... so that weekend would be out. Fairlane Club meets are me-and-dad time.

Well, we gotta figure out what dates are in the poll. What's your trip scheduled for?

Not trying to be a smartass, but it's scheduled for a time when we ain't moving into the new digs. That's as specific as I can get. We will go sometime in June or July. I don't have moving dates yet.

Didn't take it as you being a smart-ass. I thought you had already set a date for your trip, though.

Now I understand.

If anyone is around this area on the 4th, July, I'm having a Massive fireworks display this year.:grinyes:

HL, I'm for it.

AT, you're welcome, if you think you can stand me. But Vancouver is one helluva distance from Montreal.

I am most certain I could stand you :)

And I think I should visit more than just Vancouver if I'm over there. Travelling around the country a bit would be great.

I don't think you quite understand the distances involved ....

Ag, what's a couple of hundred miles between friends?
It's only 46 hours of driving...3093.68 miles to be more specific ;)
Mind you...I have a cute cousin in Vancouver, so you could at least have coffee with him :D

What, and you don't have airports and 'planes in Canada?

Next you'll be telling me I have to travel by donkey

Sounds like you okes don't really want me there

Add in the near ticket doubling airport fees ....

Hell, if you're ready to absord that ... I'll pick you up at the airport, house you and feed you. Might even stick a toddler on your lap jsut for shits and giggles.

Hell... I asked twice to come up and stay a few years ago and you said there was no room. Now you have an extra kid in the mix and suddenly you have room for the lass in the tight fitting clothes. Feh. Sexist mongrel!

BULLSHIT you did. Not to mention that I'm not exactly in the same housing situation as I was a few years back. But regardless, you never asked. I'd have made space.
