A new bag

I'm in the mood to buy a new bag that I can't afford ... *sigh* ... not that I'll buy it anytime soon ... but it's a choice between:

The first one was my first choice ... but I already have a white purse ... and the second one is purty and shiny :D
 
Is that a Balenciaga? Chloe? YSL? My knowledge in bags is minimal but I think I know a little more then the next guy.

Do you need a discount out of Europe? I think I can help you in that department. :)
 
i find the second one terrifying. too much going on. i'd steer toward simple and elegant, not if larry from three's company became a handbag. first one seems like the better choice.
 
I'm with minkey, the second just has too much bling for my tastes.

Keep it simple. After all, you want people to look at you, not your handbag.
 
Yeah... but the black one is ghastly (no offence). I like the style of the white one, but I'm not sure about the white. I think it would like better in brown or red.
 
Just get this bag and be done with it. I was just having a discussion like this with a new girl at my work today... the advantage to spending $400 on a fucking purse is that if someone steals it, you're OK because you have no money inside the purse.
 
Aren't nice bags usually around €1,500? I'm lost... I thought I knew a thing or two.

Then again, I have absolutely no problem with a woman buying a bag that costs that much. Men's toys are computers, TV's, home theatre, cars, bikes, boats and such. So a couple of hundred or thousand dollars for a bag is very reasonable.

You go girls! Spend like you don't care! :)
 
I drop US$20,000 for a new bike if I like it. My girlfriend, who makes twice as much as I do only buys the "it" bag once a year and is hesitant but you should see how happy it makes her.

I stand by my words... go out and get that bag if it makes you smile.
