While on a tour of the museum at the Auschwitz death camp in Poland on Sunday, a group of around 50 Jewish university students from Israel, the U.S. and Poland were verbally attacked by a three-member gang of French male tourists.

Evidently incited by the presence of an Israeli flag wrapped around the shoulders of Tamar Schuri, an Israeli student from Ben Gurion University, the first assailant ran at the group while its members were being guided through a model gas chamber and crematoria and began swearing and hurling anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli insults.

"He told us to go back to Israel and said that we were stupid and should be ashamed to walk around with an Israeli flag," testifies Maya Ober, a 21-year-old Polish student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan and member of the Polish Union of Jewish Students (PUSZ), which organized the 16-day summer learning program along with the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS).

France sure is a beautiful country. I can pretty easily see why the Germans liked it so much they annexed it twice. It's just too bad the French live there.
 
that Story should read more like this

Three French tourist were stripped naked and and tossed out of a museum at the Auschwitz death camp in Poland on Sunday by a group of 50 laughing jewish tourist.

Pictures of the naked frenchmen running away are freely posted on the internet often with the word "owned" embedded in the photo.

Their clothes were later recovered and soap in all the pockets.

assholes aren't limited to france alone. but i have to agree with you here...just that the unfriendly ones live in the large cities. if you visit the more quiet, smaller villages, people are as nice as they can get :)

on the story: that's just wrong, very wrong.
 
in response to the clever re-write of the story I add this

CNN is reporting that Lance Armstrong may be stripped of his 6th
Tour de France title.

In a random check for banned substances, 3 were found in
Armstrong's hotel room.




The 3 substances banned by the French, that were found in his
hotel room were as follows:

(1) Toothpaste
(2) Deodorant
(3) Soap

The French officials also found several other items which they had
never seen before including a testicle and a backbone...

Lemme get this straight. 3 French tourists, and 50 Jews??? If they didn't beat the fuck outta the French, there's something far, far wrong.

I have to agree there. Yes, what the french did was wrong, but where the fuck are the backbones on these jewish students?!!
 
Their backbones may be caught up in the web of political correctness. Tis better to be offended & whine about it than to take matters in ones own hands & end the offensiveness. After all, stick & stones may break bones but words cannot hurt. :rofl4:

Sometimes , shad, a beating isn't to teach a lesson. It's to teach fear and respect. Sadly, that's all some people are capable of learning.
 
Yeah, Prof, but could you see the headlines then?

"Fifty Jewish students, wearing Israeli flags, attacked and brutally beat three French nationals in Poland..."

All that would do is justify the worlds opinion that Israel, in general, and Jews, in particular, are people who use violent means whenever possible...

i wasn't talking about political correctness. i was talking about normal human decency. if some guy insults me, i can beat the hell out of him, true. but personally i don't think those kind of people are even worth the effort.
maybe if he pisses me off enough, i might. depends on the situation :shrug:

API and UPI reported today that the French Government announced yesterday that it has raised its terror alert level from "run" to "hide."

* The only two higher levels in France are "surrender" and "collaborate." *

This may have been precipitated by the recent fire which destroyed one
of their White Flag factories, disabling their Military for the time being.

I couldn't agree more that the actions of these three french citizens were undefensible. I'm not entirely sure how you make the leap from three people being wankers to condeming an entire country though.

Having been to both France and the US I can safely say you too have racist, insulting, stupid citizens who should have the ability to reproduce surgically removed but it doesn't mean everyone in the States should be judged that way does it?

don't worry about that...Gonz posted this. he just loves french-bashing. he should get his ass to france once, and see for himself :p
but of course you're not allowed to call him arrogant, or narrowminded or short-sighted....Gonz is always right ;)
