  • If my elected official is limited to 2 minutes of forced impromptu debate on a bill he has not been able to fully digest or fully understand.
  • If my elected official is denied the opportunity to properly represent me honestly and directly in an informed and reasonable manner.

That is taxation without representation.

Its a good thing Bush isn't the president anymore. So it sounds like your describing the liberal left here ..... The left is currently passing socialist health care that ends at the barrel of gun. Nationalizing Banks, major manufacturing etc. Printing money as if they want to destroy the economy. -- Nice eh?

Wow, don't you find it interesting that the same type of thing and worse was a common complaint under the Bush administration? It has nothing to do with Obama or Bush. Well Bush peddled his crap in Congress way more often but it's really Congress that's the issue.

It's been all about putting crap in in a bill that will help a representative's district to get them votes or more commonly to grant advantages to donors and lobbyists.

Corporations are representing what happens to this country far more than the people are. Like jimpeel says, follow the money. Who made money from the Iraq invasion?
 
Bail outs were a bad idea period. Earmarks need to end. But the fact is, and I hate to break this to you, bush ain't the president anymore.

Obama is the communist in chief right now. He is destroying the economy on purpose. He is the largest problem our nation has right now.
