another interesting visual...

it's easy, okie. you just need to form some kind of coherent story with some numbers to support it. but, at the end of the day, that ain't what you and yer kin do, is it? how about this. just post a silly picture, make assertions of socialism on the part of.... whomever, and... well, you know the drill.
Obama is ONE blackman too many so we must hate him despite his wonderful leadership and pro-american policies.

Well there ya' go, I hope it helps to feeds your delusion.

"Government employment declined (-159,000), reflecting both a drop in the number of temporary jobs for Census 2010 and job losses in local government. Private-sector payroll employment continued to trend up modestly (+64,000)."

so, less government jobs and more private sector jobs - how is that not a good thing?

It is a good thing on the surface, I think you missed the part where I said I think the private sector growth is in despite of this administration. If anythings is restoring confidence its the upcoming November 2nd election and the grass roots momentum of the TeaParty conservatives.

I notice you can dismiss everything that is not your graph.

But that's OK Minxy. I understand that your higher education affords you the luxury to put all your chickens into that very well crafted graph released by the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi's office.

awwwww, there's the shocker. you're just like the kid that ate glue in elementary school. in fact, i'm pretty sure you were that kid.

i don't care what you think. i only care about what you can substantiate. but inertia has obviously taken hold.

I notice you can dismiss everything that is not your graph.
it's not my graph, pelican pants. the only things i've dismissed are half-baked opinions that lack substantial back-up.

But that's OK Minxy. I understand that your higher education affords you the luxury to put all your chickens into that very well crafted graph released by the Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi's office.

my chickens don't have shit to do with the graph. i just asked for people to effectively de-bunk it. it's being presented as good news. it really isn't.

nice garbage post. nothing to do with the thread, just more fear for the people.

dayum you guys are sharp.

Nonfarm payroll employment edged down (-95,000) in September, and the unemployment rate was
unchanged at 9.6 percent, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Government employment
declined (-159,000), reflecting both a drop in the number of temporary jobs for Census 2010 and job
losses in local government. Private-sector payroll employment continued to trend up modestly
(+64,000).

one fifty-nine minus sixty four equals...

what's this 31 shit?

Your chart in the thread header was about private sector non-farm jobs gained. The number of private sector non-farm jobs lost was a NEGATIVE 95,000 for September. The number of private sector non-farm jobs gained was a POSITIVE 59,000 for September. The result was a net loss of 31,000 private sector non-farm jobs for September.

The -159,000 figure was for government jobs lost in September, including temporary census takers.

Now, back to our regularly scheduled program.

let's see if anyone can effectively debunk this one (no superstition, please). data source seems to be legit.
It's a swell graph. accurate as all hell per the specified numbers.

And here we will end all critical thinking and accept our skittles and puppies blissfully.

Great thread minx. Next we can discuss which side of a period (.) should face upwards.

jim, learn to read. ALL of the figures are non-farm jobs. get it yet? but i'm sure the obammie admin would love your figure which cuts the real losses into a third of what they really were. :retard:

Governments do not create the bulk of jobs in this country, private companies do and they aren't going to do that because none of them want to stick their necks out for the long haul. This means that employees (and the unemployed) will not spend, which means companies don't make profits, which means companies won't hire more people. It's a bad cycle that can only be broken if companies start hiring more people and take the risk.

They are waiting to see how bad it is going to get after January first.

you've yet to offer anything other than skittles or puppies. and you're talking about critical thinking. pardon me while i laugh my ass off.

awwwww, there's the shocker. you're just like the kid that ate glue in elementary school. in fact, i'm pretty sure you were that kid.
Yeah, I was pretty sure you'd latch on to that part of the post, it does fit you belief system does it not?

nice garbage post. nothing to do with the thread, just more fear for the people.

Actually it fits you topic just fine. The lesson is that: The free market forces reacts in a helpful manner much like the body does in most situations. We don't need Dr. Mengele doing experiments on the living to fix whats not broken.

Also, nice use of the "fear mongering" meme. spike would be proud of you.

Yeah, I was pretty sure you'd latch on to that part of the post, it does fit you belief system does it not?

nah i was just making fun of your pathetic attempt. what about my belief system would it fit? that people with nothing to add post something stupid? well, okay.

you've yet to offer anything other than skittles or puppies. and you're talking about critical thinking. pardon me while i laugh my ass off.
It a graph based on a very specific set of defined numbers. -- what exactly are you expecting us to prove wrong?

Personally, I would have chosen a different color scheme, maybe a 3D layout. I dunno, its pretty effective just as it is.

It seems to me that you have, in the past, indicated that main objection to obama's presidency is his race.

Which is palin silly.

there certainly are people out there looking to justify their dislike for obama in any way other than the one that is socially embarrassing. so what? that has nothing to do with this thread. you're just grasping for shit.

yes, RM, of course i think you're a horrible redneck racist. that satisfy you? okay, thanks, bye.

try being more like jim. at least he's tried to craft decent responses.
And you completely dismissed his efforts just easily. Bigot.

Again, you are dismissing the concept that the up coming election has relevance to the confidences in the private sector. The growth has very little do with confidence in Obama's peoples.

As the election closes you'll find some level of confidence is being restored. Although Obama still had the executive powers to fuck shit up.

Honestly, you're putting out this laser-cut pin-hole image that is almost irrelevant to the full scope of what's going on. And you expect us to spend how much time discussing this life changing revelation?

there certainly are people out there looking to justify their dislike for obama in any way other than the one that is socially embarrassing. so what?
Ah, so disagreeing with Obama's policies are simply avoidance measures of the root cause, racism, which is fueling the current state of the nation.

Certainly it has nothing to do with Obama spending his entire life in adoration of Marxism.

that has nothing to do with this thread. you're just grasping for shit.
Yes it does. You are showing a graph and asking us to debunk it but we cannot discuss anything but the graph.

yes, RM, of course i think you're a horrible redneck racist. that satisfy you? okay, thanks, bye.
Keeping the Okies downs since the 1930's. There ought be laws against people like you.

jim, learn to read. ALL of the figures are non-farm jobs. get it yet? but i'm sure the obammie admin would love your figure which cuts the real losses into a third of what they really were. :retard:

1. Government is NOT the private sector.

2. Non-farm jobs are all of the rest of the jobs in the PRIVATE SECTOR.

3. The figures we have been discussing are for one single month -- September 2010.

Check out the number of lost jobs for the entire year and see how many were lost as opposed to how many were gained.

Sorry, everyone. I screwed up and grabbed the stats for March and May 2009 instead of 2010 in my post HERE

That has been corrected.
