Call a spade a spade already

That is a false argument. The US won't grind to a halt
without unskilled laborers that don't speak our language
that DO owe their allegiance to another country.
Now the Democrats may never win another election without an ever-increasing underclass.
Little brown brothas flooding across the border is not the salvation of the United States, quite the opposite.

Don't worry, nothing substantial will be done about this issue. The balkanization of this country will continue apace.
The haves will continue to rise and the have nots will continue to get beat down in the streets and the beat goes on,

Drums keep pounding rhythm to the brain

Maybe, maybe not. The rich don't give a crap either way, but the middle-class will definitely have a problem...especially since most, if not all, US citizens are too good to pick strawberries for a living. They may do it for their own use, but not for a paying job.

Ya know this reminds me of a conversation I had recently.
This guy was sayin' the plane that went down in Pennsylvania
was shot down by an F-16 on 9-11.

I told the guy that is insane, something like that couldn't be covered up. Then he went on to say that George Bush with the aid of his Saudi Arabian cronies engineered the whole 9-11 attack. At that point I knew I was dealing with an insane person and quietly slipped away.

Dood don't eat strawberries then!!!

 Considering that this has been going on since the 1870's, and has been a problem since then, I don't see how this is such a big issue now. Just call it 'taking the focus away from problems we can actually solve'.

As a kid, in the 60's & 70s, we had Mexicans who came over & labored, got their paycheck & went home. In the 80's & early 90s they stood on street corners looking to get hired as day labor. They shacked up, several to a residence, sent some money home on payday & eventually went back. In the late 90s they began killing cattle on the AZ ranches & having a huge BBQ in the desert. With each passing day, they move farther from day labor & closer to invaders.

I've seen a massive change in my lifetime.

They would go home if they knew they have a chance to come back later, most don't so they stay as long as they can over there.

Not that I support illegal immigration.

So are you going to cut your own lawn, pick your own veggies/fruit, and clean your own septic tank?
That won't pass here man.
When I was a teen I cut our grass and many others.
There are still school kids out there that will do it, and cheaper that the illegals.
Same for picking fruit and such. There's millions of kids out there. Put THEM to
work to buy that new HalfLife game.
As for the septic tank, ...the last time I had mine pumped, it was one white
guy, and one black, and they are the cheapest priced around here. and I was
fairly happy to pay it. ($100)

Same for me...but that was then. ;) Most parents today make excuses for their children, instead of instilling ethics.

example...

When I was growing up, I was expected to do well in school. If I didn't, it was my fault, and I suffered some kind of consequence for my lack of determination. Now, parents blame the teacher, or the teaching materials. When I was growing up, I got an allowance (look it up, youngsters), and learned to save to get what I wanted, thus learning the value of working and saving. Now parents just buy their kids what they ask for. When I was growing up, if I mouthed off to either parent, I got the strap, and learned that there are polite ways to get what you need to say out there. Now the kids have 911 on speed-dial, and the mere notion of the parent actually disciplining the child is under state scrutiny.

"It's the United States, not Mexico, that has a history of slavery," wrote columnist Sergio Sarmiento in the newspaper Reforma.

Agree :D

In fact, Mexico had hundreds of thousands of slaves during the colonial period, though it banned slavery before the United States did.

BS, slavery was banned 'off the record' on september 16th 1810 and was formally and legally banned on september 27th 1821, the we became independent from Spain.

Once again, those guys writing and bitching about Mexico SHOULD read more.

"Off the record banned" is equal to "on the record allowed". There is probably not a country on the planet that has never allowed slavery & very few where it's non-existant today.

We've had slavery on our territory but NEVER in Mexico.

I said off the record because the territory was under Spanish control, and that date merely marks the beginning of the independence war. We became an independent country until September 27th 1821, and we have NEVER EVER had slavery in Mexico.

"The kinds of crime that many neighborhoods are seeing are the robbery- and burglary-type crimes, the crimes that are a direct result of having a meth monster in your neighborhood," said Brad Holland, deputy Pima County attorney for neighborhood protection and neighborhood advocate.

There's your culprit.
