There is a store-brand white cheddar (President's Choice) one here which one could 'almost' call good.

remember when homemade mac and cheese was the best? my girls scarf down the box kind but the homemade gets mutinous glances.

My kids like the homemade, but I've had other kids come for dinner and be all excited about having macaroni and cheese till they saw it wasn't the box kind and wouldn't eat it.

Same thing has happened with homemade cookies.
