Declaw or not declaw?

She's 7 months old and I am going to call a Clinic today or tomorrow to book to have her spayed.

If, in the next couple of months following the spaying, she doesn't settle down, I'll have to find her somewhere to live. My sister's ex boyfriend has a farm and he has this HUGE pet house that's heated for all the cats and dogs he owns. She'll be happier there, I think. We'll see.

Please remember that kittens CAN be trained just like dogs if you work with them. Also, ask the vet about the nuerological thing. It is fairly common in cats. They will be all nice and purring and then whap, they will stick out thier claws and get you. It is not because they are "mean cats" sometimes. Sometimes it is simply because of the nuerons that get sent to the brain that get read as pain. While you are training you can ask the vet to help you put those plastic casings on her so that she can still think she has claws but they won't rip up anything including people's faces.
