I get the same way Nixy! A friend was telling me that he was going home to drink some rum and lay with a fat woman. I have never met his wife and said - "she could not be fat, I bet you are just saying that." He comes back with, "You obviously have never met my wife." A couple of other friends didn't think that was insulting his wife - but I just about went totally off on him. Just his tone, and calling her fat?
