Aha...I know the culprit. I am keeping an old version of flash to be able to access a chatroom (which is currently under upgrade so I may soon go ahead ans get flash 9). I'll try and sneak onto Rob's machine to view it.

Yeah,the "let me in" one needed the cat to want to be let out again as soon as the door was shut.
