The price of fuel is nuts and getting nuttier. The prices that I'm seeing at the local station is :

143.4/liter or $5.42/gallon

So...what are YOU paying?

Here in Florida at the Walmart it's $3.94(and climbing):banghead: and if you go inside the store and get a wally world card you can get a whole 3cents off, which by the time you get done looking for a parking spot you spent well over that!
YES, ridiculous it is!!!!

It ranged from $4.13 to $4.25 as of two days ago here... I'm close to empty and have been betting that prices would ease a bit after the holiday weekend... hope I'm right.

Around $3.75 here. My wife said I should get some goats to save the lawn mower gas but I hate goats.

I knew I should have converted my extra dough into Canadian when I first went to Canada about 6 years ago...

Bouncing around like a rubber ball... filled up at $1.295 yesterday... jumped up to $1.34, by morning, and $1.43 this afternoon. :puke:

Try them grilled.

Filled up the old lady's car on Saturday at $3.96.

Today it's $3.89 :cuss:

Yeah, gas prices didn't go down here. I paid $4.15 today at Chevron (actually one of the cheapest places in town).

I think I paid 129.9 the other day...but I really just stopped looking at the prices because it hurts too much. I can still make the cost work without too much change in driving habit, so it's a mental pain that I do everything I can to avoid.

One thought I can't seem to avoid though is why I'm paying the same as people in Toronto. We have no provincial sales tax here and the oil used to make the gas comes from my province! I mean, REALLY! You think those two things combined would mean a little savings...there are times when we're 2-3 cents/litre higher than Toronto even.

At your prices I could fill up my car for $50...the last month or so it's been closer to $60.

I hear the US doesn't wanna buy our "dirty oil" anymore...maybe then we'll have more supply and our prices will do down...I know that's not going to happen, but one can hope.

Oil prices aren't tagged to supply/demand...it's all speculative market value. What brokers 'think' the prices might be like in X months. Like a self-fulfilling prophesy, but using our money.

Yeah, it was just over $50 to fill mine.

Are there refineries near you?
