hardly surprising...

Any second year International Affairs student could have told you that there was no correlation between the two parties. They despised each other.

Thank you for showing me I wasn't the only one on the forum who understood this.

As long as there is knowledge of (forgotten name of the airplane fuselage), there damned well should be disbelief of a denial of connection.

  • Abdul Rahman Yasin, who was indicted for mixing the chemicals for the bomb used in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, which killed six New Yorkers and injured over 1,000. Yasin fled to Baghdad after the attack, where he was given sanctuary and lived for years afterward.

  • Khala Khadar al-Salahat, a top Palestinian deputy to Abu Nidal, who reportedly furnished Libyan agents with the Semtex explosive used to blow up Pan Am Flight 103 in December 1988

  • Abu Nidal, whose terror organization is credited with dozens of attacks that killed over 400 people, including 10 Americans, and wounding 788 more. Nidal lived in Baghdad from 1999 till August 2002

  • Abu Abbas, who masterminded the 1985 hijacking of the Achille Lauro cruise ship, during which wheelchair-bound American Leon Klinghoffer was pushed over the side to his death. U.S. troops captured Abbas in Baghdad on April 14, 2003

  • Abu Musab al Zarqawi, who ran an Ansar al-Islam terrorist training camp in northern Iraq and reportedly arranged the October 2002 assassination of U.S. diplomat Lawrence Foley in Jordan.

  • Ramzi Yousef, who entered the U.S. on an Iraqi passport and was the architect of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing as well as Operation Bojinka

  • Mahmoud Besharat, the Palestinian businessman who traveled to Baghdad in March 2002 to collect funding from Saddam for the Palestinian Intifada. Besharat and others disbursed the funds in payments of $10,000 to $25,000 to West Bank families of terrorists who died trying to kill Israelis.

  • All this plus the terrorist training base at salman pak. < your plane gonz

Let's also remember ther has been a connection made in a US court of law which supercedes the commision.

I suppose that with out film and minutes of the meetings there is ‘proof’ but cooperation is the only conclusion a reasonable person can come to.

There are more connections out there; more has yet to be revealed.

Miss Gore-lick’s actions have shown the integrity of the commission.

thankfully the members of this board know more than an entire commission issued by your favored president Bush, which has spent months and months investigating the attacks on 9/11....

i'm glad to be a member of these boards

of course people know better, since they already made up their minds.

And your point?
We didn't invade Iraq because of 9-11,
everyone knows that.
Most know the real reason.

But beyond that, guess which locale is next!?!

We are not superior to the commission members; we just have the freedom to form reasonable conclusions. The official political line is not afforded such graces.

Why do you chastise us for conclusions drawn using logic & evidence when you do not follow the same course against those drawing conclusions using nothing more than emotion?

which political line is that? Last time I checked the board was composed of 5 republicans and 5 democrats and Bush was supportive of the choices.

Oh and by the way that list of names you listed there did you mention the september 11 attacks in any of those?

No did I not.

I did however point out the connections of Iraq to terrorism. This is a war on terrorism; the perpetrators of 9/11, for the most part, died that day.

Can you show me absolute proof positive that OBL is the one responsible for 9/11 and that he is not just utilizing the incident and taking credit for it to further his cause?

. . . that must be taught in the third and fourth year :D

Upon further reflection, who cares if saddam & usama had a love affair. This is all the justification needed,
