Yep Mirlyn does look to be atleast 6'4" in most of the pics I've seen.
Everyone else must just be short then. :D

Jesus Christ - have we become so numbed and unsympathetic? Two absofuckinglutely horrific pictures were posted with a little girl (and boy) who's whole lives are shattered and the fear in the boys eyes - shit. And all you can say is "Well, parents shoulda stopped"??????

That is what the thread entails. Did the Americans visciously blow away mommy & daddy for sport or did mommy & daddy screw up & place themselves and their children in jeopardy. I'd have not used pictures, making the scenario less volitile. But, in the end, yes, we have become that numb...it took years of fingerpointing & blame laying but we have gotten there.

I equate it to the parents running off the road, and into a tree.
It's sad, but the parents are at fault, not the tree.

I'm not quite that numb. I keep coming back to the thread because the first picture looks disconcertingly like me as a little girl. It's disturbing.

Still, the parents should have stopped.
Hell, I told my husband he would lose visitation if he drove the kids in a car when he had no license because I didn't want them to have to go through seeing him busted. These parents put their kids in this position. Why, who knows. I can't fathom though that however long this has been going on, that they had no idea. These roadblock shootings are as major a part of the propaganda war over there as they are over here.

Now I have a stoopid song in my head.

Over there, over there,
Send the word, send the word over there -
That the Yanks are coming,
The Yanks are coming,
The drums rum-tumming
Ev'rywhere.
So prepare, say a pray'r,
Send the word, send the word to beware.
We'll be over, we're coming over,
And we won't come back till it's over
Over there.

And you run off, acting the victim, and all the while, you're the one who was attacking. Nice, Bish. Real nice.
I finished my shift and went home. I didn't 'run away'.

I just know none of you have watched the videos
put out by the 'insurgents' of the cars careening into roadblocks and blowing up…
yup I knew you hadn't...

Let's see the pics of the AMERICAN children crying
because Daddy won't be coming home, ever!

If you can blast the driver before he's on top of you
you have a better chance of not joining him in the race
for the 77 virgins.

The only good homicide bomber is one that's dead before he hits his target.

RM, I'd like to see you try and tackle Mirlyn. The lad is like 6'4.

OK, so I'll have to go put on my flip-flops. 6'-3" flat-footed, 230lbs with only a slight gut, mostly chest. (lost 15lbs thanks to my wifes dieting and the resulting meals of rabbit food) :swing:

THIS HAPPENED AFTER I FAITHFULLY AGREED TO "NO PERSONAL ATTACKS"

LOL, whant some cheez with that?

...you'll just have to pucker-up an take it, those are all generalization of the sisterhood and brethren of Kiwinistan.

Now had I called you a 'dumb-broad', ....that would have been of personal attack. Good thing I didn't call you that huh? :la:

See here in America....

If an officer of the law direct you to stop your car, and choose not too. There is a risk of being killed just the same as in this situation.

retort: --oh no I've seen them on 'Cops" just follow them until they run out of gas or wreck.

InCalifornia, if said driver is driving fast and placing the general citizens at risk, they can be authorized to use deadly-force upon the driver of said wreckless vehical.

I feel bad for the kids, I still thinks the parents were dumb-asses. So dont tell me this is some freak deal of injustice that it shlouldn'ta/couldn'ta ever happened.

I look at that little boy in the picture Starya posted and it gives me the creeps...the expression, the confusion and the downright terror he must be feeling.

am I the only one?

nope, I felt the same way.

I'd have probably cried if I'd been the one that 'had' to shoot the driver.

Quite frankly, I would NOT have posted those pictures to illustrate the point. They make me sick.

Children - victims of thier parents idiocy - be it in my own backyard or in another country.

:crying4:

Now how many times my dear, have you expressly said you think the whole grammAr police thing is for marooons. ...Love the hipocrazy.

Butt thank yooz anywhyooz. :winkkiss:
