You'll have to share your recipe!
I don't have one yet.
I haven't tried it myself yet.
My grandmother, and sunt usually do that part, but I'm going to try it
myself this year.
I'll let you know, when I figure it out.

This reminds me, I need to plant more cucumbers in the row! I can't wait to make Oi Kimchi (cucumber kimchi)! :woot:I don't have one yet.

Yeesh! Maybe not if they're as big as I think they are. Use thick plastic sheeting. You can use strong sticks or anything to make a frame. Use strong tape to keep the sheeting from flapping open in the wind.I don't think glass jars are gonna do much to save my tatters.

What is that then, about ... 2.5 or 3 C?It never gets to 27f here. Our temps are always in Celsius.
Oh true. I forgot to put the minus sign in front of it.it's in the minus range
32F = 0C
I tried peas one year. It's too hot here for peas.we have new baby peas, and corn breaking ground today.
I just got back putting up more crow, and deer deflectors.
Jeeze! We have an orchard but it is behind a fence and surrounded by dogs. I guess it's a good thing. Sorry to hear about your peaches. Ours are a bit bigger than thumb size, so far so good! We may have a good year for peaches (on the remaining peach trees, damn drought).dang deer!
In one day the just about wiped out my peaches.
The peaches were about thumb size, and they chomped um off almost down to the stem.
You can see the teeth marks.
I didn't think they'd mess with um this early.
Damn, crows! We've had the problem replanting grass for grazing. Not necessarily crows, though, but just all kinds of birds. We need a scarecrow! Even the dogs didn't help keep the birds away (lazy fucks).I'm not too disappointed, after I though about it a while.
This is only the second year since planting them, and this may actually
make them grow better for next year.
I am disappointed though that the crows got what looks like nearly a 1/4 of
my white corn in the big field.
I'm going to have to do some spot re-planting.
On an up note though, my okra is coming up really good now.
