Inky?

I hope Inky is well and can update us soon.

No deaths were reported, but the Los Angeles police chief said he feared authorities might find bodies among the 500 burned dwellings in a devastated mobile home park that housed many senior citizens.

"We have almost total devastation here in the mobile park," Fire Capt. Steve Ruda said. "I can't even read the street names because the street signs are melting."

He's spending the weekend with his girlfriend so won't be online.

Thanks .In case he complains ,since he pointed out the fire was nearby, its his fault if we interrupted his weekend.

I just texted him and he sent me a couple msgs so I'm sure he wasn't too bothered.

well one good thing....
he just moved so he knows where everything is he needed to grab.

hope his new place makes it through.

I feel the love. <3

The trailer park that had 500 homes burn (in Sylmar) is a good 3 1/2 hours away from me. The park I'm in (San Luis Obispo, CA) was never threatened by the 60-acre fire I posted a link to on cat's board.

A big fire, yes... the fire near my trailer, though, where it was burning was mostly low grass instead of in dense brush/chaparral/trees. That slowed the spread.

yes i know, that sucks not to be mean or anything but can tou get insurance on your tralier? anyway movie star homes can be rebuilt they have the money to do that, so that is why i don't care so much about them, i only care if one of them dies or something like that.

There's possessions...and then there are 'your stuff'.
Possessions you buy
Your stuff..you invest in...and I don't mean money. The worst thing that we lost during the cabin arson was a roll of brown paper that cost us $5.
