I used to be a bit........well.....a bit of an obsesssive compulsive. I've got rid of most of the things I used to do, but I still have one tick left that I can't seem to shake.
It's CTRL+S

As in, saving your work on Word. I have to save after every single sentence I write, sometimes more often. Sometimes I do it when I'm not even IN Word. A bit of an annoyance for a writer. I've got a brand new keyboard and the 'S' is completely rubbed off while all the others letters remain. How embarrassing.

Hmm... I use that one a lot too. Someone emailed this to me. I didn't notice it was missing. Ctrl+H (find and replace, incredibly useful for editing javascript or html) isn't there either.

Who gives a fuck when one can point and click...

hahah, when i help my mom do things on the computer, i tell her to use shortcuts because thats how i'm used to doing it, and she kind of freezes up in confusion for a second because she's used to pointing and clicking, lol.

I believe some computer classes should be taught without mice, forcing the students to use keyboard shortcuts for some of those useful functions to learn them and not become so reliant on the mouse. It's much more efficient.

Anyone else use the Quick Reply shortcuts, Alt+S to post, or Alt+X for advanced?

I used alt+s before, but after I got that latest version of FF, all it does is open the History-column..

I can post with tab+enter instead, not gotten used to it though.
