Sending more troops won't help anything 'cept maybe his 'votes for' on the Repug side

The 'surge' worked in Iraq.
Afghanistan isn't Iraq and actually
nothing will 'work' in Afghanistan.
Osammie hasn't a clue what to do
so this will become another Vietnam
and just like Nam a Republican will have tah
clean up the mess left by a dithering Demorat.

Actually Winky doesn't subscribe to the domestic surge, that's more of what I'm into. While we share similar thoughts on a number of issues, we differ greatly on several of the conservative "values".

Being conservative isn't a cookie cutter.
 
Afghanistan is looking for strong leadership....oh, fuck, Winky's right.

Obama fostering the next 9-11.

At least Osammie was clear on his intentions to abandon the area,
gives everyone ample time to join the Taliban.
 
Nobody even defined the How of winning this war. You could state tomorrow that the war is won if you mean overturning the existing military at the beginning of the war, or of overthrowing the GVT at the time. In which case, you're just in the rebuilding phase now.

The problem is that nobody defined what the winning conditions would be BEFORE going in. The same can be said of Iraq.

Why risk American lives? :shrug: Ask the guy who started it.
