Marxism has taken hold

gonzie if you could use labels correctly then, again, there would be no reason for this thread.

somebody needs to give you a little reality check.

perhaps if you phrased things as "moving toward socialism" it would not be such an issue.

but as it is, you label anything you don;t like as marxist.

while failing to acknowledge what lefties have done for you.

you're a truck driver with a GED. and you act like warren buffet or bill gates with your proclamations.

you're the little man - like all of us are - acting like you;re the commando-in-chief. it's too much.

and again i'll challenge you to explain to me what a marxist really is.

because right now, you;re as silly as the folks that would call bush a nazi.

there's lots of space in-between. lots of space that you have had benefit from. stop posing. take stock of your place in the world. do a little reading.

and when you're ready to put your armband down, things might open up a little.

get your ducks in line and stop being such a wanker.

Sorry mr educated, would marxism-lite be okay?

What I've read or not read seems to be a matter of concern as of late. A duck is a duck is a duck. I'll get back to you when I have time from my menial little job.

So, state run indusry isn't part of the marxist plan? guess my copy was the uneducated version.

yup big talker master superpower free market guy, you're spewing the dummy cartoon version for sure.

there can be lots of various levels of state involvement in industry that have little to do with marx/ism specifically.

is japan marxist?
how about israel?

oh, that's right, you aren't interested in actually iunderstanding things. and there's a limit to my patience and benevolence. so just go ahead and spew another limbaughesque bumper sticker slogan, and get back to your menial job, mister super free market master of all that surrounds him guy.

To an extent, yes it is. Based more on a feudal society, but that's not as understood...

To an extent, yes. Based more on a theocratic-style, but that's not as understood...

Ahh. So instead of trying to get him to understand, you resort to spike-type hyperbole and denigration. TSk, tsk...:p

Help, I'm being opressed. :finger:

If you find the state the preferred provider, stick around & say nothing. You'll get your wish.

I like private property with all the accompanying rights & priveleges. I think that the free market solves its own problems. I think enterepeneurship allows free men to flourish & get ahead.

The state (federal) has no business interfering in the lives of its inhabitants. If someone is unable to care for themself, there are other venues to provide a service.

Education should not be indoctrination.

Retiremement is not a right. Especially funded retirement. Most especially when the funding comes from ones own pocket yet is forcibly taken from the earner & is not required to be returned.

Healthcare is not a right. There are private organizations that can handle it. There is cash. Homeowneship is not designed to be inheritance. It is intended to provide shelter & perhaps income.

Income tax is theft of services.

Any movement of the government that interferes with free trade, that prohibits free exercise of ones rights to do with their property or person, any requirement of a government to give up wealth, is, in some sense, a step toward the ideals written by Marx & Engels. Ideas that will ultimately harm those unduly influenced by this opression.

We are not an ant colony. The government is not our mother nor our provider.

Free men acting with free will have, can & do make the world a better place. Personal responsibility requires sacrifice, freely given. Remove that freedom & you destroy what makes us human. Karl Marx was wrong. Necessity is the mother of invention. Competition makes us stronger. Classes are necessary & worthwhile. The state is there to provide roads & armies, not jobs & entitlements.

Now take your pompous ass off & take some surveys. What is better? Dawn or Ajax?

Quoted for posterity. Y'all know why.

And since mods cannot be placed on ignore, with this post I bid y'all a fond farewell. To all those who helped us through our housefire and my long battles with various health ailments, you will live forever in my memory and have my eternal gratitude. For those who offered encouragement, prayers, kind thoughts, likewise my undying thanks. And a big hats off for simply putting up with me. But I have determined that I will no longer tolerate any manner of treatment online that, if face to face, would result in one of us going to the hospital and the other to jail. Ain't worth my time any longer.

Some of y'all know where to find me.

Deo vindice.

Nobody wants to hear this preachy bullshit from you when you've been in favor of so much anti-freedom and nanny state bullshit in the past. Don't try and pull out the Constitution as if it's some defense of your position. You only give a crap about it when it's convenient.

Fact is our healthcare system is broken because it's based on profit and greed and not on making people better. Healthy people aren't profitable so your whole damn premise is flawed.

Countries with universal healthcare are doing a better job than we are. Life expectency is longer, infant mortality is lower, people are healthier.

You can't just mis-label shit as marxist and call it an argument.

socialism and marxism are not the same fucking thing.

the japan example is right on. feudalism and marxist go right together hand in hand. :retard4:

let's just call anything right-of-center fascist? that would be about as accurate.

sticking by my story. this is just another occasion for moronic bumper stickers.

nice going, gonz. you win the medal.

You say that a lot. Maybe you are confused & mean that it's all I care about.

Where have I supported the nanny state?

There is an argument for my not fighting against rights being weakened IN CASE OF WAR!!! Oh look, there's a war now.

Our entire government is limited by the Constitution. That is all that is permissable. The rules are clear & concise as to the extent of power given each branch. We, the people, the power & the arbiters of that power, have chosen to ignore our right & responsibility to oversee that power. Look where it's gotten us.

Nope, you've made it obvious that you only care when it's convenient. For instance where do you run off to when it comes to the 4th Amendment?

Government enforced marriage.

We haven't declared war in quite some time.

No shit, the last 7 years has wreaked havoc on Constitutional rights...and you supported it.
